Hamira Musa is from Angwan Center Kwali, where the failure of the community's only water well sparked a crisis. "Our community struggled to get clean water for a long time," Hamira says. The nearest stream is dirty and in a terrible state. But we had no choice so we would regularly queue up for hours just to get a bucket of water. We are so grateful to Lifewater for rehabilitating our broken well (including installing a new hand pump). We now have clean water, and we are so thankful." |
