A message from the community

We are all happy and honored to have clean water from our well. Thank you Lifewater Canada and STADA Kenya for fixing our broken well. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Kapiyo community members could not get safe water from their well because its hand pump had failed. Everyone was forced to start walking to and from the nearest river. Unfortunately, this put children and adults at risk of diarrheal diseases because the river water isn't safe. But thanks to our donors, Lifewater has rehabilitated the well, replaced the broken pump with a new one, and enabled young and old to have easy access to safe water again.
