Adamu is from Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ in Garaku, a community that practiced open defecation prior to our arrival. “We are all so grateful for the toilet project," Adamu says. "We pray that God will bless those who came to construct it. The ladies are especially happy, as they no longer have to use the pit toilet, which was causing them infections. Open defecation is no longer a problem in our community, as we now have a well-functioning toilet with a water system. We are so happy and grateful for the kind and selfless efforts of your organization.”
