A message from the community

Thank you STADA Kenya and Lifewater Canada for replacing our pump. It has been serving the community. We are much grateful and we hope for nothing but favour upon you. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Water from a dirty river was the only option for the children and adults living in Kamarawa village after the hand pump on their only well broke down three months ago. Everyone knew the river water might make them sick with diarrhea and other illnesses, but they had no choice. Then our donors enabled Lifewater, in partnership with Stada Kenya, to visit Kamarawa village, rehabilitate the well (including replacing the broken pump), and restore the grateful community’s source of safe water.
