A message from the community
About seven hundred people from our community are sure of accessing clean and safe water from our village well. We really wish to say a big thank you to Lifewater and Stada Kenya for drilling us a well and installing a hand pump. We appreciate your love and support. ---Community Leaders

People of Kachola Kadeyo community in Kenya's Kisumu county had known rivers and dams as their only source of water. The community had no well and therefore no source of clean and safe water. The trips to the rivers and dams were long and tiresome and the Kisumu's hot sun and high temperature made water collection an uphill task for the women and girls. But now the community is in a celebratory mood because Lifewater Canada funded the drilling of a new well and installation of a new hand pump. The villagers are happy to have access to clean and safe water from the village well and a promise of a good health.
