Students at Oremo Mixed Secondary School had no choice but to drink from a dirty river when they were not able to carry to school clean drinking water. The school had no source of clean drinking water except for the school’s rainwater harvesting system that was barely enough to provide water for every student. But now, the students are happily getting enough of clean drinking water. This is after Lifewater Canada donors funded the construction of a new well in the school and installed a new hand pump. Because of the school well, there is uninterrupted flow of clean and safe drinking water in Oremo Mixed Secondary School |
