The community of Gatayea would wish to say a big thank you to Lifewater Canada and Service to Servants for the repair of our broken hand pumps. We are so happy that we can collect clean water from out wells.

Waterborne illnesses were a constant threat for children and adults living in Gatayea after the community’s well stopped working and the only option for everyone was to drink from the nearest hand dug well. But through the generosity of our donors, Lifewater has repaired the broken hand pump. Safe water is available again to young and old in Gatayea community.
