Parents living in Sinjay village struggled to acquire clean drinking water for their children after the hand pump on the well serving the villagers stopped working, and their only option was to drink from a shallow well. The shallow well’s water was not safe for drinking, so children often fell sick from drinking the shallow well’s water. But through the generosity of our donors, we repaired the broken hand pump, so clean and safe water is now flowing in Sinjay village.
