Poor sanitation, the spread of waterborne and skin diseases are just but a few of the struggles of Ballah community for the six moths the community lacked access to clean water. The well's hand pump was broken and the residents had no other clean source of water, except for a shallow well whose water was anything but clean. However, Lifewater Canada and Service to Servants repaired the broken hand pump, therefore affording everyone in Ballah community access to he much-needed clean water.
