About five hundred people, including students at Nyangande Primary School in Kisumu county had not had clean drinking water for months. This is because the hand pump on the well serving the school was broken, forcing everyone to drink from unsafe sources. However, we rehabilitated the well at the school, including replacing the broken hand pump. Thanks to Lifewater Canada donors, everyone at Nyangande Primary School community is now drinking clean and safe water from the school's rehabilitated well. |
