Residents of Kruker village would walk into a creek and collect water for use at home, including drinking water. The water was dirty but that was all they could afford after the hand pump on their well stopped working, thus making clean water inaccessible.  But thanks to our donors, Lifewater has repaired the broken hand pump. Everyone in the community is happy to have safe water again
