Over three hundred students at Bonde Kakoko Primary School in Kisumu county were not able to either wash or drink from their school well. This is after the well's hand pump stopped working, but the issue was more than just a broken hand pump, the well needed a complete overhaul. So, Lifewater Canada funded the rehabilitation of the school well, and installed a new hand pump. Bonde Kakoko Primary School's rehabilitated well is now providing clean and safe drinking water to students and the community at large. |
