A message from the community

We wish to express our  sincere appreciation together with the school Board of management following your kind action of honoring our request to rehabilitate our pump. The job was successfully done and water is flowing very well.

May God bless you for serving our school and our community, and so much more.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Over three hundred students at Bonde Kakoko Primary School in Kisumu county were not able to either wash or drink from their school well. This is after the well's hand pump stopped working, but the issue was more than just a broken hand pump, the well needed a complete overhaul.

So, Lifewater Canada funded the rehabilitation of the school well, and installed a new hand pump. Bonde Kakoko Primary School's rehabilitated well is now providing clean and safe drinking water to students and the community at large.
