A message from the community |

We the Orenge Comprehensive school community do highly appreciate your good gesture of replacing a water pump at our school. Ours broke down and we could not afford to renovate the well. By you replacing the pump, it will go along way in helping the learners and the community access clean water which will in turn help improve their health. May God bless you for the good work. ---School Leaders |

The well serving the students of Orenge Primary School in Kisumu county was not working for years. The students and the community struggled to acquire clean drinking water. While the hand pump had broken down, the whole well needed more than a pump repair, which turned out to be costly for the school. So, Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya partnered to rehabilitate the well in Orenge Primary School and install a new hand pump. Thanks to the support of our donors, everyone in Orenge Primary School community now has access to clean and safe drinking water. |
