On behalf of our community, we wish to say a big thank you to Lifewater Canada for providing our community with access to clean and safe drinking water. We are blessed to have a well in our community.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The residents of Kajulu Ugwe in Kenya’s Kisumu County would collect water from a nearby dirty swamp. This was a trend that lasted for so many years as the river and the rains were the only sources of water. Seeing that the rains are seasonal, the river was a reliable supplier of water, however, the river’s water was not safe for drinking.

But then, Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya recently drilled a new well in Kajulu Ugwe community and installed a new hand pump. Thanks to Lifewater Canada donors, everyone in Kajulu Ugwe community now has access to clean and safe drinking water
